Jessie Adams is the womanizing, lead guitarist for the hottest rock band in the country, Bayou Stix. Seduction is his game. He does what he wants, when he wants, and with whom he wants. Women are playthings, but eventually meaningless sex with groupie after groupie gets old.
Blue Delaney has spent years working nonstop and cultivating her way to being the hottest rock reporter in the business and the lead reporter for Rock Hard Magazine. She’s confident, sexy, and has no time for games.
Jessie loves women and women love him, but something about Blue gets under his skin. She’s not what he’s used to.
Blue loves Bayou Stix and is friends with the guys, but something about Jessie pushes her buttons. It doesn’t stop her from wanting him.
When Blue is forced to go on tour with Bayou Stix and cover the band, tensions run high, chemistry is explosive, and Blue and Jessie begin to see each other in a new light.
Their attraction is obvious to everyone but them. But in the end… the question is who’s seducing whom and is chemistry enough to sustain a relationship?
Can this fierce woman tame this bad boy rocker? Does she want to?
I received this book from the author, Skye Turner, as part of a tour in exchange for an honest review and that’s what I’ll deliver.
This is book 2 in the Bayou Stix Series, but can be read as a stand alone. I would still suggest reading the first one to familiarize yourself with the other characters and with their past.
Now onto Blue and Jesse. We first met them in Alluring Turmoil. Blue is the lead reporter for a rock magazine who is in charge of covering Bayou Stix. The initial impression of Blue was that she was a bitch. But then you realize, she was just protective of Jude and you get a peek into her true feelings towards Jesse. Once that was straightened out, you couldn’t help but like her.
Jesse, the lead guitarist for Bayou Stix, came off in the first book as lovable but a moody man whore. He was sort of an ass to Blue, so you weren’t quite sure what was going on, but you knew there was a history/underlying passions there. In Alluring Seductions, we find out exactly what that is.
Blue and Jesse have a literal love/hate relationship and arguing is foreplay. It fires you up and pulls you into their relationship. It is sexy as hell when they are trapped in an elevator together, to watch the fur fly and then passions explode. Talk about SMOKING HOT!!!! Then of course Jesse turns into an asshole and breaks the spell, so fur flies again. But passion that burns that hot, will also have tempers that burn hot. Can they each get past their own issues to have a real relationship? Can they even stop fighting long enough to give a relationship a chance? Can Jesse give up all the other women and stay true to Blue? Can Blue ever trust him to be faithful? This is a definite must read to find out these answers and to get a taste of the inferno this book…hell this SERIES..provides!!
Skye Turner’s Bayou Stix Series is actually the first “Rock Star” series that I’ve ever read and she has made me a hot and willing fan. I have a whole new appreciation for those bad boy Rockers! I have always been a lover of the paranormal alpha males, but getting some Rock Star Boyfriends is a nice change!
