Vampires Aaron and Michelle prowl the dark, gritty, strip clubs and back alleys of London on the hunt for Michael Jamison, the man who stole Michelle’s blood and left her for dead. To assist them, Aaron’s new master, Urvashi, calls in favors from her friends, Russian mercenary werewolves.
Wolves Katya and Ivan, hunters adept at killing rogue vampires, set aside their animosity for Aaron and Michelle to stop Jamison from murdering another woman – he already has one bloodless victim lying in the morgue.
Jamison, ex-special forces, feels his enemies closing in, but he won’t go down without a fight – and like Aaron and Michelle, he also has powerful friends.
I was given a copy of the book from the Author, Travis Luedke, as part of a promotional tour, in exchange for an honest review.
When I was offered the opportunity to be part of the tour to promote Travis Luedke’s new book in the Nightlife Series, I jumped on it! This entire series is unlike anything that’s been done before! It’s erotica meets the paranormal, with a touch of Travis Luedke’s own special concoctions of pain and pleasure!
Aaron and Michelle are back, along with Urvashi. Their destinies were altered when Mike Jamison “killed” Michelle, along with the connection she shared with Aaron. For that crime alone, he must die and Michelle won’t stop until she has his head on a platter. To do this, they need the help of two werewolves, Ivan and Katya.
Katya has a deep seeded hate for vampires, especially Michelle, but she feels something towards Aaron that shocks and scares her. However secrets in her past and the horrors she’s seen Michelle and other vampires, commit, make her reluctant to fall for Aaron’s charms. When she sees Aaron helping humans out and his kind hearted actions, she can’t help but wonder if just maybe, Aaron isn’t so bad.
When a shootout leaves Aaron as the last man standing, he is forced to choose between following the instincts of the human he once was or following the instincts of the man he now is, to save the others. And who will be paying the ultimate price for his choices?
My Final Thoughts: Travis Luedke and his Nightlife Series are rare treasures of the Paranormal World, that have yet to be fully discovered or appreciated. Each time I open one of Luedke’s books, I know I’m in for one hell of a ride, with some unique twists and turns. Each time I read another installment in this spectacular series, I find myself reminiscing on the first book I read of his, Nightlife: New York(Read Review HERE). The scene with Michelle and Aaron’s ex girlfriend will not only be forever branded into my brain, but it will always be that pivotal moment when I thought to myself…
