2025 Spring Festival Travel Kicks Off, with Cross-Regional Passenger Flow Expected to Exceed 170 Million on the First Day: The Speed and Warmth of "Mobile China"

　　The 2025 Spring Festival travel season began on January 14 (the 15th day of the 12th lunar month) and will end on February 22 (the 25th day of the 1st lunar month). The total cross-regional passenger flow is expected to reach 900 million, marking a 7% increase compared to the same period last year. According to the 2025 comprehensive transportation Spring Festival task force, it is projected that on January 14 alone, the total cross-regional passenger flow will reach 172.39 million, with 10.3 million passengers traveling by rail.
